Specific court officials and others authorized by Minnesota law can perform civil marriages, or a licensed or ordained (officiant) may sanctify civil marriages.
Marriage certificates can be obtained from the Polk County registrar’s office for anyone who applied for a license within Polk County only from 1875 to present.
