Notice is hereby given that a hearing has been set for March 27, 2026 at 9:03 a.m. in the meeting room at Polk County Environmental Services, 320 Ingersoll Ave, Crookston, Minnesota, to consider the of application Levi Nelson, PO Box 221, Clearbrook, MN 56634 for a Variance to reduce the setback from the OHWL of Cross Lake from 150 ft to 110 ft for the construction of a cabin on a parcel of land described as: That part of Government Lot Seven (7), Section Twenty-one (21), Township One Hundred Forty-eight (148) North of Range Thirty-nine (39), West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Polk County, Minnesota, described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Section 21; thence North 03 degrees 17 minutes 26 seconds West, assumed bearing, along the West line of said Section 21, a distance of 1319.47 feet, more or less, to the Southwest corner of said Government Lot 7, also being the point of beginning; thence continuing North 03 degrees 17 minutes 26 seconds West, along the West line of said Section 21, a distance of 13.00 feet, more or less, to the centerline of Township Road 702, also being the point of beginning; thence North 01 degree 01 minutes 03 seconds East, along the centerline of Township Road 702, a distance of 470.00 feet; thence North 89 degrees 24 minutes 30 seconds East 541 feet, more or less, to the West shoreline of Cross Lake; thence South along the shoreline of Cross Lake, a distance of 489 feet, more or less, to the South line of said Government Lot 7; thence South 89 degrees 24 minutes 30 seconds West 525 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, parcel #57.00146.03.  All property owners within 500 feet of the proposed Variance are invited to appear at said hearing.

Notice is hereby given that a hearing has been set for March 27, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. in the meeting room at Polk County Environmental Services, 320 Ingersoll Ave, Crookston, Minnesota, to consider the application of Rebecca Maszk on behalf of Minnkota Power Cooperative, 5301 32nd Ave S, Grand Forks, ND 58201 for a Variance to reduce the setback from the centerline of County Road 5 from 160’ to 94’ and County Road 207 from 170’ to 97’ for the construction of an electrical control shed on a parcel of land located at: 24967 340th St SE, McIntosh, MN 56535which is described as: The north 250’ of the east 300’ of Lot 1, Section 1, Township 148 N., Range 42 W., of the Fifth Principal Meridian. This parcel contains 1.72 acres, more or less, parcel #45.00004.00.  All property owners within 500 feet of the proposed Variance are invited to appear at said hearing.
