The Administrator's Office provides quality internal support services to Polk County departments and activities to ensure coordinated, accountable, efficient and cost effective use of resources. The County Administrator:
Is an appointed position by the County Board and manages the affairs of the county under which the County Board has authority
Serves as the Clerk to the Board and implements all Board actions and decisions
Prepares the annual county budget for presentation to the Board, monitors expenditures throughout the year to assure compliance with approved budget
The Administrator's office is responsible for the county Human Resources, Information Systems and Facilities Management departments.
